ReDrum App

Get Started

This web app offers a visual display of the ReDrum patterns, gives full computer keyboard control over the device and provides speech feedback. Before proceeding, follow the below steps. Note: Steps 1 through 3 only needs doing once.

Download and install the Reason Remote LUA Codec/Map files.

Download and install a virtual MIDI cable application. This is required to connect Reason to this web app. LoopMidi is one free example. You will need to setup two virtual MIDI cables.

Add the ACRE ReDrum control surface in Reason Preferences by the Add Manually button and selecting it from the list. Use the two virtual MIDI cables you setup in the previous step for the input and output ports.

Select these two virtual MIDI ports from the dropdowns below exactly as setup in Reason Preferences.

Press the Start button below and then load/select a ReDrum device in the Reason Rack.
